Technically I have already made feature-length projects in the past, so I should define the goal more precisely. Specifically, I want to [A] function as the director, with additional duty as the producer only if necessary, [B] of a motion picture, [C] shot at 24 frames per second, preferably on 35mm film but my guess is I will have to settle for high-definition video, [D] running 80 minutes or longer, which is my personal definition of "feature" length, [E] which is exhibited at least once in a functioning commercial cinema. In other words, the day you are sitting in a movie theater watching a feature film with "Directed by Brian Johnson" as its final opening credit, I will have reached my goal.
The history leading up to this moment will be detailed soon. For now, I am headed off to birthday festivities with my family. Keep an eye on this blog for the written adventures over the next few years, and hopefully I will be able to give the story a happy ending.
